Today I’ve been working on filling all the missing chunks, gouges and damaged edges on my Baby Pacman. I normally use P38 but thought I would give Ronseal High Performance Wood filler a try. It was actually fairly easy to use, however the 10 minutes working time, as stated on the tin, was more like 5, so I had to be quick mixing and applying.

P38 in comparison seems to give a bit more working time. Both are hazardous to breathe so I was wearing an FFP3 mask, googles, and chemical protective gloves.

It took pretty much all day to get the result I wanted, with the same section being done about 5 times. It’s not perfect, but it’s much better than how it was when I started. I’m particularly pleased with the bottom right hand corner that had a huge chunk missing. This is now flush with the rest of the cabinet, and looks like a a proper corner:
