I’ve spent today moving my cabinets, bar billiards table, and workbench into my humble garage arcade with the help of three friends. I need to do some more rearranging tomorrow, setup my test kit, and get the pinball machine installed. Then it’s time to do the real work – see if any of my games actually still work 🙂

Many thanks go to Jon, Alan, and Alec for lending a hand!

Finally after 2 years working on this, my garage is now an arcade!

The final steps were finished today – connecting the power and lighting. I just need to move my games in there now and sort out positions for them:

I’ve got this Baby Pacman MPU passing all self tests now! I tricked it into thinking that it had the extra +43 V DC coming from the solenoid and now have 6 flashes present 🙂

So I decided to take a look at the Bally MPU from my Baby Pacman cabinet to see what happened when I powered it up using a PC power supply. These are the results:

Note: The MPU has previously had its battery removed, and I have cleaned it up to hopefully prevent any corrosion. The battery is used to store any settings that may have been saved, and is not essential, or will stop the game working if taken off.
