I got the Isopropyl out again tonight to give the Solenoid/Lamp driver PCB a good clean. This also looks in good condition:
A “cleaner” Vidiot PCB
I’ve finally had the chance to remove the Baby Pacman playfield. Wow, it looks in top shape. I’ll give it a clean with Novus and I suspect it will look like new. Really pleased with this.
One thing I haven’t done yet, and is recommnended, is building a box to hold the playfield. This ensures that you don’t crush the wires, coils and lights underneath
I’ve recently acquired a Crazy Kong PCB, but the Jamma adaptor that came with it wasn’t the best so I’ve made a new one, so I can plug this into a supergun or Jamma cabinet. Again it looks a bit like spagetti junction, but it is fairly tidy, and I am happy with the results.
I’m particularly pleased with the soldering of the edge connector directly to the fingerboard. This is the first time I’ve done this and I think I did a fairly decent job.
